CBSE has directed schools to inform Class 10 and 12 students about exam ethics. Board exams for around 44 lakh students in 204 subjects will begin on February 15, 2025. To know all the details about the notification, read the article below!

Kolkata: The CBSE has established comprehensive 'Unfair Means Rules' on their official website: cbse.gov.in. Before the examinations commence, it is crucial to inform all participating students about the ethical conduct, rules, and instructions outlined by the CBSE. The CBSE Class 10 exams will be held from February 15th to March 18th, 2025, while the Class 12 exams will take place from February 15th to April 4th, 2025.

In a communication to school principals/heads and center superintendents, the board emphasized that all examinees must be thoroughly acquainted with the ethical guidelines, regulations, and instructions issued by the CBSE.

What are the Instructions given in the CBSE 2025 Notice?

The instructions stated in the CBSE 2025 notification are given below:

Student and Parent Awareness: Schools are directed at informing students and their parents about the ethical conduct expected during examinations and the consequences of any unfair means.
Combating Exam-Related Rumors: Students must be informed against spreading or believing rumors that could disrupt the smooth conduct of the examinations.
Prohibited Items: Students must be warned against bringing any prohibited items, such as electronic gadgets, to the examination venue.
Informing Exam Officials: The board instructs schools to thoroughly brief all assigned exam officials regarding their duties and responsibilities.
Consequences of Unfair Means: The board has clearly stated that if a student is found with prohibited items like electronic gadgets or spreads rumors about the exam, their current and subsequent examinations will be canceled.
